I have always wondered why the indian bureaucracy is so inept ,corrupt , inefficient and insensitive.I have got the answer, to a great extent, after reading the book MOTIVATING BUREAUCRACY .In fact ,after I read the book,I have been emboldened to discuss the contents of the book with many of my enlightened friends. The book is really a fine one .I honestly believe that the book has the potential to kickstart a sort of revolution in the attitude of errant bureaucrats of this poor country.

It is now almost four years after I spotted the book MOTIVATING BUREAUCRACY in the world book fair. The Macmillan publication is a good and stimulating stuff. This is one book I have not repented about after purchasing.Recently when I walked into the library of the Indian High Commission in London I found this book there. When I checked up from the High Commission official I was told that the book is also available in all the other Indian Embassies and High Commissions .The book is a thought-provoking book.
