This book published by macmillan makes an interesting reading. The author gives an excellent insight into the indian bureaucracy.I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I strongly recommend it to all those who are interested in understanding the attitude and mindset of the people working in any bureucratic set up.

The book MOTIVATING BUREAUCRACY enlightened me on a lot of things about the bureaucracy everywhere.I understand that the book has since seen a number of reprints and is in good demand.

I have always wondered why the indian bureaucracy is so inept ,corrupt , inefficient and insensitive.I have got the answer, to a great extent,after reading the book MOTIVATING BUREAUCRACY .In fact ,after I read the book,I have been emboldened to discuss the contents of the book with many of my enlightened friends.The book is really a fine one .I honestly believe that the book has the potential to kickstart a sort of revolution in the attitude of errant bureaucrats of this poor country.

It is now almost four years after I spotted the book MOTIVATING BUREAUCRACY in the world book fair.The Macmillan publication is a good and stimulating stuff.This is one book I have not repented about after purchasing.Recently when I walked into the library of the Indian High Commission in London I found this book there. When I checked up from the High Commission official I was told that the book is also available in all the other Indian Embassies and High Commissions .The book is a thought-provoking book.
