Overview for Universal Mineral Materia Medica with Pharmacodynamics

"Universal Mineral Materia Medica with Pharmacodynamics" is a comprehensive database of exiting knowledge of Inorganic chemistry, Homoeopathic Materia Medica written by our masters and the work carried out by us for last twenty years. We have tried to co-relate and derive the properties of medicines based on Periodic table to Homoepathic Materia Medica. We have also included the patho-physiology, toxicology, sources and daily requirement of each mineral. Symptoms are also based on doctrine of signature. Chemical and physical properties. The format of Materia Medica has been designed to provide the details in a comparative view point regarding common indications of each Group, followed by details of each element in increasing atomic number in the same group and lastly individual inorganic medicine used in Homoeopathy. We have evolved the portrait of each group and printed it in the beginning of the chapter. We have also recommended clinical suggestions of many drugs so far not based on proving, thus offering the opportunity to experiment and in future by proving discover its distinctive use and add to our armamentarium. It rests with the individual practitioner to judge for himself the accuracy and reliability of observation. In this connection, imperfectly proven remedies necessitate the use of diagnosis at times instead of the component symptoms that is the legitimate guide to the choice of the curative remedy. Dr. C. Hering and Dr. J. Burnett had said that the right remedy must also be the pathologic similimum. Regarding potency and dosage we have given in brief in first chapter of the book. It is of course, suggestive only, which are added from our clinical experience and that of many observing practitioners. It is a supplement to other work on Materia Medica, and if introduced with the larger books of reference and record of proving, it will fulfill its purpose and prove a useful aid to the student, practitioner and professional brethren. This book is offered after much appreciation of the previous book "Text book of Biochemic Tissue Remedies for students and practitioners." The abbreviations of the remedies are purely arbitrary and self-explanatory. We have emphasized the text into bold word as higher important and italic little lesser grade.
