Taufiq Ahmad Nizami (b. 1944) has had a brilliant academic career. In 1965, he passed M.A. in Political Science and was awarded the University Gold Medal for standing first. He received his Ph.D. in International Affairs from the Aligarh Muslim University, where he is currently serving as Reader in Political Science and was awarded the university Gold Medal for standing first. He received his Ph.d. in International Affairs from the Aligarh Muslim University, where he is currently saving as Reader in Political Science. He was visiting Post-doctoral Fellow at the institute of South Carolina, Columbia (1971-73), USA and Canda (June-July 1989) to discuss the theme of his forthcoming book on Nehru-the Architect of Modern India. His name appears in the 5th edition of â€˜Men of Achievementâ€ published by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. He has already about half dozen outstanding book to his credit.
