Indian student community, professionals, practitioners and researchers in the area of Pharmacy Practice are getting yet another textbook cum reference book from Dr. K. G. Revikumar, who was the head of the first ever department for Pharmacy Practice (Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy) in India at Government Medical College, Trivandrum. The book entitled “Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics - Concepts and Practice” discuss the principles and applications of both Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics in Indian context in a simple and easy to understand manner with the support of illustrations and case studies. It is the first of its kind in India from an Indian author, that too from a professor of pharmacy practice who has pioneered in integrating education, practice and research in pharmacy practice in India. Though the book is written from the perspective of Indian students of Pharm.D, M.Pharm Pharmacy Practice and research, it is equally useful for all those who are interested in the area of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics.
