Blessed with a robust melodious voice, Manjusha Patil recived rigorous 'taleem'in a gurukul pattern for 13 years from Pt. D V Kanebua, a renowned Sangitacharya of the Gwalior and Agra gharanas. This was followed by a substantial period of mentoring from the noted musiclogist Dr. Vikas Kashalkar. She is now adding new dimensions to her music under the guideance of the contemporary music maestro, Padmashri Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar.

Manjusha broadcasts as a TOP grade artist from All India Radio. She has done playback renditions for two Marathi films and has also cut a music video album with the noted music director Shri Ashok Patki
