Pt. Rasiklal Andharia was born on October 13, 1931, in Bhavnagar, Gujarat He received his musical training from his elder brother Shri Babulal Andharia. He was impressed by the Kirana Gharana gayaki of Ustad Amir Khan and adopted it. The characteristic of this gayaki is its 'Badhat Ang' with a systematic unfolding of the swaras of a rag in an ascending order. Rasiklal was an A+ Grade artist on Akashvani & Doordarshan.

Rasiklal was honored with Best Vocal Artist Award from Meerut Music Circle & Swar Saadhna Samiti, awarded with the title "Surmani" by Sur Singar Parishad, Mumbai. He also received 'Gaurav Puraskar' from Government of Gujrat and felicitated by Governor of Delhi.

Rasiklalji participated many times in the SWAMI HARIDAS SANGEET SAMAROH and otherprestigious Music Festivals across the country.
