Ganesh and Kumaresh Violinists of exceptional virtuosity were prodigies in their boyhood itself that the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru M.G. Ramachandran made them the state artistes of Tamil Nadu even as they were young. It was a momentous occasion recall the talented brothers for from them on they made great strides in the field of music soon to be recknoned as outstanding performers on the violin. They scaled further heights in the performing scene associating themselves with great artistes like Zakir Hussain Vikku Vinayakaram and George Brooks to present fusion-music. Speed and Technique are the duo's forte though the brothers are second to none in presenting traditional Carnatic Music. The gifted violinists are good composers as well with their 'Thillanas' especially forming the encore in their concerts. Their many albums of thematic presentations speak volumes for their ingenuity. The numerous awards bestowed upon them therefore come as no surprise !
