Swaraaravindam: Mandolin
Aravind Bhargav is a performing South Indian Classical Mandolin artist, disciple of Padmasri Shri U Shrinivas and is in the field, only for the past 2 years. He hails from a Telugu family settled in Tamilnadu, with a musical background. He has had the privilege of being appreciated in the very 1st performance in June 2009, by both Rasikas and press alike, and has been performing consistently since then, ably supported by some of the most senior and popular artists in the field, with nearly 100 performances to his credit. He has been Graded 'B' by prasar bharati, All india radio, Chennai, from August 2011. Trying to play melodiously, sensitively and energetically are the special features of Aravind. The appreciation and rapport, that he shares with his accompanying artists, adds to his appeal. He feels blessed by God's Grace, his Gurus and elders for the little, he has achieved. He would like to perform extensively and take Carnatic Classical Music, to larger audience, all over the world.
