Synopsis
N. Ramani, a renowned flautist hails from a musical family and was a disciple of legendary T. R. Mahalingam. In this live concert, Ramani has rendered 'Smarane Sukham', a kriti of Tyagaraja in Raga Janaranjani, followed by an elaborate alapana of Syama Sastri's 'Meenaochana' in Raga Dhanyasi. He has also rendered a second alapana in Raga Bhairavi of the popular Dikshitar composition, 'Bala Gopala'.
