Beyond the Border, based on two journeys that Yoginder Sikand undertook to Pakistan, covering Lahore, Multan, Hyderabad (Sindh), Moenjo Daro, Bhit Shah, Islamabad, among others, is a strikingly unconventional account of what life is like for ordinary Pakistanis.
