Overview for Mechanical Operations for Chemical Engineers: Incorporating Computer Aided Analysis
A comprehensive text book that deals with almost all mechanical operations such as particle size analysis, size reduction, size separation by screening, classification, jigging and dense medium separation, sedimentation, filtration, centrifugation, fluidisation, flotation, mixing and agitation, gas-solid separations, handling and transport of solids. The coverage is over a very wide horizon which also includes computer-aided analysis and simulation of each process/operation. With a large number of illustrative examples, the book provides excellent reference and study material for the students of Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Engineering and related areas.
