This manual provides the knowledge about the basic experiments done in the Environmental Engineering and as such, very much useful for the first year B. Tech. students of all branches/disciplines. The manual covers the new syllabus of the semester scheme for first year in R.T.U. and other universities. It encompasses the practical applications of the subject, which is the real need of the hour.
This manual includes the experiments to be done by all of the first year students of Rajasthan Technical University in second semester. Some of the experiments like determination of dissolved oxygen are also useful for the higher level leading to the determination of BOD.

Prof. R.C. Gaur is a retired Professor of Archaeology and Ancient Indian History of the A.M.U. He has contributed immensely in the field of Archaeology and published a large number of papers in various national and international journals. He had been a member of several academic bodies and travelled extensively, visiting archaeological sites and delivering lectures in great Britain, Europe, Egypt, Middle Eastern countries, the former Soviet Union and the U.S.A.
