Dr. Sohrab Ali earned his master's and Ph.D's degree in Zoology, Entomology C.S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology Kanpur in 1979 and 1993 respectively and M.A. (Education Administration and Planning) from Jamia Millia Islamia in 1996-97). Dr. Ali had been Horticulture Incharge in the Deptt. of Horticulture J.M.I. w.e.f. 1980-86 and later on he again the holded charge in 1996-97. Dr. Ali is a life member of Indian journal of Agriculture Biochemistry and has got the honour in the 2002. Dr. Ali has been working in Jamia Millia Islamia Central University since 1980. On the post of lecturer in Agriculture and now at present Reader in Education (Agriculture) continuied Besides teaching. Dr. Ali has been engaged with plant-protection work in rural areas specially eastern area Distt. Basti, U.P. In Delhi Dr. Ali has explored more plantation, cropcultivated vegetable, flowers for the student demonstration and community. Dr. Ali was a member of Academic Council and Executive council in J.M.I. He has participated many National and international conference and presented papers. Dr. Ali has got the world of Honour and nominated to get the Gold of Honour by the American Biographical Institute since 2003 from the carolina, American country. Dr. Ali established the Agriculture, Biofertilizers (Wormi Composting) in the Institute of advance studies in education and also introduced the elective papers Agriculture Education at Diploma Basic training and B.Ed. level curriculum from this course maximum villages students and urban student are learning sustainable agriculture education and beautifully their home (Roof Garden, indoor plant etc.).
