Dr. C. Ashok is at present working as a Lecturer (S.S.) in the Department of Physical Education, Health Education and Sports at the Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College (Autonomous and Accredited with Five stars by NAAC), Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. He completed his Higher Secondary at Nadar Saraswathi Higher Secondary School, Theni. He was graduated from one of the premier colleges of Madurai Kamaraj University i.e., Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College. After graduation, he underwent B.P.Ed. and M.Pl.Ed. Courses at Y.M.C.A. College of Physical Education, Chennai and M.Phil. from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. There after, he completed his Diploma in Yoga Education course at H.V.P.M. College of Physical Education, Amravati and acquired his Doctorate Degree at Alagaappa University, Karaikudi. He has been carrying out intensive research on Physical Education in general and Yoga in particular.
