Tariq Rahman

Tariq Rahman, PhD, is an acclaimed Pakistani scholar specialising in linguistics. He is currently Professor of Linguistics and South Asian Studies at the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, and was Professor at the University of Sanaâ€™a, Yemen, and Fulbright research scholar at the University of Texas, USA. Among his many published books, 'A History of Pakistani Literature in English' (Vanguard Books, 1991) remains a landmar.
