About the authors

Lokesh Srivastava

Dr. Lokesh Srivastava was born on 21st December, 1962 in Jabalpur and has a brilliant academic career. He obtained his M.A. (Geography and History), L.L.B. and Ph.D. from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur and doing D.Litt. on Tribes. He is actively engaged in teaching and research in Tribal Studies for about 20 years. He has contributed research papers in various university seminars and national level academic meets on environment, Pollution, Marketing of Tribal Produce, Fertility Behavrious and Demographic Changes etc. He is Life Member of National Association of Geographers in India and participated in International Geographical Union Conference at Prague Czechoslovakia and Nepal. Presently Dr. Shrivastava is Head, Department of Tribal Studies, Rani Drugavati University, Jabalpur.

Stefano Caldirola

Dr. Stefano Caldirola was born in Milano (Italy) on 10 October, 1976. Studied Laurea (Post Graduation) in Political Sciences, State University of Milano and obtained Ph.D. in History of Asia, State University of Cagliari, Italy. Also did research on Narmada Valley Tribes, Madhya Pradesh under Tribal Research Department, R.D. University, Jabalpur. Contributed research papers and participated in international seminars. Presently Lecturer in the Course of Hindi Language, Indian Culture and Linguistics, University of Milano.
