Production Technology of Rabi Crops
The field of crop production is an integral part of agronomy. Production technologies of field crops are now being redefined under the scenario of climate change and ecological imbalance. The redefined technologies for raising Rabi/winter season crops are needs to be encapsulated in the shape of a book. The present book is a sincere attempt to cater the needs of altered agricultural scenario. The book includes recently recommended package of practices for major cereals, pulses, oilseeds, commercial and fodder crops. Besides, the book also incorporates the recommended integrated package of technologies for nutrients, water, pests weed management and farm mechanization in details as dedicated chapters. The content of the book is planned as per the syllabus based on Fifth Dean’s Committee’s recommendations for undergraduate courses in agriculture.
